SilverBoom and Blog Launch

Welcome to the Consolidated Video Blog. This blog will serve as the main source of news and updates on Consolidated Video products and services as well as more general thoughts on the tech world.

I’d like to also announce the free public beta of SilverBoom, a web service for converting flash to silverlight. SilverBoom works by taking an Adobe Flash .swf file and converting it to Microsoft Silverlight (or WPF) based XAML. Some of the key features supported at this time include:

  • Vector Graphics
  • Gradients
  • Animations
  • Motion tweens
  • Shape tweens
  • Clipping Layers
  • Buttons
  • Images
  • Color Transforms
  • Static and Dynamic Text
  • Extracting Audio and Video

New features will be added continuously and we encourage your feedback in that process. So try out SilverBoom, its fast, easy and nothing to install.
